Must I flash the BIOS?

It's for a Gigabyte A520I AC motherboard and going by their website, it states that the AMD Ryzen 5600G is supported. But YT vids I've seen say that the BIOS will have to be flashed.  So should I, or can I leave the mobo as it is?

I think you will.  That Gigabyte mobo does support the ryzen 5600g if you update the bios first.  You are best off q-flashing the bios with just the psu attached and nothing else, so no cpu, memory, etc.  That mobo has a dedicated usb port for flashing the bios.
