Under 'The talk-IT lounge' there is 'Welcome and introductions' where the admin welcomes you to the forum and where you can introduce yourself to other members, whilst 'Off-topic discussions' is where you can make posts about almost anything of a general nature that isn't about IT.
Then there is 'Suggestions for talk-IT' where members can post-up ideas for new features that they would like to see on the forum. This can be done as a standard post or as a poll. If suggestions are reasonable and practically possible and backed by a fair number of members, the forum admin may well go with it and add it as a new feature.
